Is there some reason why the date & time columns in outline view have to display the long date format? It doesn’t leave much room for the other columns. Any chance of making the date format a preference, with short date as the default? If not, why not just display the short date?
Or better yet, if it is not too much trouble, have it do like the Finder does, where it compresses the date down to shorter formats automatically depending upon the width of the column.
