I’ve looked in all the pull-down menus and can’t find where diacritical marks (or foreign words) are located for inserting into an otherwise English-language text.
I’m assuming, like Mac, it’s an OS function. On a Mac, you just hold the letter key down and after a few moments the options appear and you select the correct one. I’ve also used Win for years and never seen that option. Best I could find were a few sites like this one.
