I’m in the early stages of planning a series of three novels. Since they will share the same characters for the most part, settings, etc is it better to do this in one Scrivener file or three separate ones? Makes sense to do it and outline the whole thing in one, but I want to make sure I won’t run into any limitations or roadblocks with that approach. I’m using the Windows version and just downloaded it (going through the many great tutorials).
This previous summary of topics should help.
In short: yes, it makes sense, and yes the program is designed to work that way if you wish to.
That’s what I’m doing. At the moment, only the first book is in the Manuscript folder. Everything else is in a Research & Planning folder. So far, it’s working out well.
