Document Opening Placeholder

I’ve been futzing around with my trial copy of Scrivener and coming to terms with its capabilities/limitations.

One of the features that I’ve found is, to me, a hindrance. When I open a text file, it auto opens to the last place I was reading that file. Sometimes that helps, but at the moment it is a hindrance as I flip-flop between multiple files.

Would it be possible in the future to include the option to turn that function on/off?

Danke.

I agree with Tim, but would add the option of putting the behavior on a time limit, as it’s useful for a few minutes while the document is one you’ve recently been working on or with.

Time limit on selection highlighting and pointer within doc?
