Document Reference and PDF Bookmarks

Hi, I’m wondering if there is a way to jump to bookmarks and highlighted text I have added to my PDF’s when doing my research.

I use the split screen to review my PDF’s while writing and I want to be able to jump to my bookmarked pages. Can I do this in the Scrivener split screen?

Unfortunately not, the highlight and annotation features for PDF are not like the ones you use elsewhere on text documents. They are a part of the PDFKit that is used to display PDFs and getting that information and putting it into a list that you could easily jump to would be tough to do.

What you can do instead is load the PDF in an external dedicated PDF viewer that is capable of doing this. It’s not as nice as having it in a split, but if you’ve got the screen space to put both programs side by side it works well.
