Greetings,

I am trying to set up a new project in Scrivener 3.0.1 and what to create a word count template. In the past I have created a template folder, placed the documents I wanted to make into a document template in the folder, high lighted the folder and went to Project>Set Selection as Template Folder.

Currently, that option is not available to me. When I do the Project drown down there is not an option to Set Selection as Template folder. I am trying to create the new document template in the “Blank” project provided by Scrivener. I have opened other projects and am not able to find the option either.

First, select Project > Project Settings…

In the dialog, click on “Special Folders” on the left. You’ll then be able to select your templates folder.

I thought I had a little “What has moved into this panel” list in the What’s New appendix of the manual, but it turns out I don’t! So, there will be a list with old menu / feature names to help guide people to the right spot, in the next revision.
