Document <$title> token?

I sometimes export individual documents from a larger project, and in the Compile section I want to use the document’s title (not the project title) in the header, next to the page number, when compiling it into a MS Word document.

Checking the manual, I couldn’t see the right token, but in this website link (Via the Scrivener Facebook page) they mention a <$title> token (albeit for use in a different part of the Compile section). I tried this in the header section, like so:Screen Shot 2013-04-19 at 22.03.47.png

But it generated the following header in Word Screen Shot 2013-04-19 at 21.57.26.png, which isn’t quite what I’m looking for!

Is it possible to do this?

Many thanks,

Try <$sectiontitle> instead. This is from page 413 of the user manual:

You may then have to fiddle with where the page break occur so you get the right title coming up.

Aha! So, I read the manual and saw this referred to PDFs and I simply assumed it wouldn’t work for Word docs! My error!

I’ve just tried it now and it seems to work fine.

Thanks.

Also note the <$compilegroup> token, which will display the name of the group you have selected in the Contents compile option pane.
