Dodgy formatting applied if text pasted at beginning of doc

I’m in Scrivenings view and if I ‘paste and match style’ a text at the beginning of a document, then the formatting is screwed up. The pasted text has the same grey background as the document title, but it is not added to the title.

Running 2.0.5 on 10.6.6 on Intel.

Yes, this is a known quirk and unfortunately it’s not possible to fix it owing to the fact that the OS X text system seems to take the Paste & Match Style formatting from the text preceding the cursor point rather than from the typing attributes. (If you take a look at the 2.0.5 release notes this is actually mentioned.)
