Hi! First - thank you for all your hard work in creating this AMAZING product. Second - I tried searching for this request first and am surprised no one has asked (or I just missed it ^_^).
I am working on a fantasy novel and have done a fair amount of World Designing and character designing. I was wondering if it would be possible to have some kind of interface that would allow one to open GIMP, Photoshop, paint, or some other drawing application from Scvivener to draw ideas for places / people / worlds / animals / etc.
Thanks so much!
Could you clarify that a bit further? You most certainly can import images into Scrivener’s (non-draft) binder, and even open them in external applications to edit them. The button for this is down in the footer, below the image, on the right-hand side. XCF files won’t show up in Scrivener natively, it doesn’t have the proper plug-ins available for doing so, but you can certainly drag them in (if you enable the option to allow unsupported items in the binder, in the Import and Export preference pane) and access them with Gimp.
