It would be awesome to be able to draw links on images (i.e. a location map, link to a text document for a room, etc.).
Sorry to say, there are no plans for anything like this right now. Do note that the References feature is available to anything you put into a project, using the Inspector. You can store as many links as you want, to other items in the project, the Web, files on your computer or anything at all that can be triggered with a URL (for example some database style programs let you create URLs to specific entries). I know it isn’t visual, but that’s the part that is complicated to code for, and meanwhile this implementation is really simple to provide and still gives you a lot of power.
Sad to hear. Being able to click a portion of an image and be taken to its reference document is one of my favorite features of other organizational software (articy, etc.).
