Duplicate instead of move when dragging?

Is there a way to duplicate or copy an item or folder when I drag it from “Research” to “Drafts” ?

The reason I ask is that I’d like to keep the research intact and create multiple documents from it. I can manually duplicate the file or folder before dragging, but it would be easier if there was a key I could press when dragging that would copy or duplicate rather than move it. Or a way to set duplicate to be the default action when moving from research to drafts.


No, there is no way to do this - you need to duplicate files manually (or just hit cmd-D).
