I’m test driving Scrivener. I like it a lot so far. I am having some problems with exporting to the ebook format.
I will use Scrivener mainly for writing a technical book that includes quite a few equations. I’m using MathType.
The problem I’m having is that I don’t know how to control how big the images will be when I open the ebook in, say, kindle or my ipad.
In my experiments the images for equations are:
- too big
- more annoying, or different sizes
thanks in advance for any help,
Images in e-books should appear the same size as they are in the editor. Is the font consistent in all of your MathType images?
Also, what type of e-book are you generating, and what software or hardware are you using to preview them?
Yes the font is consistent but when I have a single equation the font is larger than when I have 2 or 3.
How do I control the final size? The way it looks now the equations are 3 or 4 types larger than the text.
I’m compiling an epub book. I’m previewing in Ibooks in an ipad.
