empty folders after using word search funtion

my main project folder, and all 40+ subfolders are empty after using scirv’s word search feature.

the text files are still there in the subfolders, and the text, but all folders are empty. compile reads it as empty.

used a back-up to begin work again today. same issue: after i use the word search feature scriv shows which folders contain the word in the binder. then i delete the search word, and when the binder is repopulated the folders are empty.

any info would be VERY appreciated (440k word project…poof!)

The first thing I would recommend is upgrading to 2.6. You are using a version that is almost precisely three years old, and a huge number of bugs have been fixed, features improved and so on, since then.
