ePub and .mobi export problems

I am having three problems here. The first two involve ePub export. After compiling, I viewed the ePub file in iBooks. Everything is correct except the front matter. The title page is spread across two pages and the font sizes are partially backward; to illustrate the problem I’m using lowercase to represent small caps. It should look like this:

                        Storm
                        On The
                        Horizon

                    A Novel By

Instead, I’m seeing this, (imagine the lower part is on a different page)

Storm
oN tHE

Horizon

A Novel By

ePub problem #2 is the bottom of the copyright page carries over to the dedication page.

After compiling .mobi and viewing with Kindle Previewer, I am having the same title page issues, as shown above, with Kindle Fire previews. Kindle Paperwhite spreads the title page across three pages. Kindle DX displays the title page correctly.

Any ideas? Does it matter that the title page file is set for right align?

Nevermind. Feel like a bit of a fool, but fixed problems myself. The main issue was that I copied and pasted title page from pdf front matter file. After deleting and redoing it with slightly smaller fonts, less padding and Title Case in place of Small Caps, all problems corrected.
