Hi all,
I have installed scrivener on an ubuntu installed side-by-side on a chromebook using crouton.
When I try to execute it, always appears the same error:
/usr/share/scrivener/bin/Scrivener: error while loading shared libraries: libcups.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
What can I do?
Thanks in advance for the answers,
Juan

Sounds like you need the ia32-libs package. You should be able to find it in Synaptic.

Or just do:
sudo apt-get install ia32-libs
It works!!! I was thinking that crouton used 32bit version, but it’s obvious that either I was wrong or the installation was too thin.
ANyhow, thanks a lot!!! A chromebook is even more wonderful with scrivener
