Hello.
I decided to test out the beta for version 3, Windows. One thing I noticed is the Error Indicator (red dots, normally a wavy red line in other software) for misspelled words is not prominent enough. I work on a 4k monitor and even with the default theme, the dots are not easy to notice unless you are purposefully looking for them. If you active the Dark Theme, then the error indicators are virtually invisible. This makes it very difficult to easily find misspellings to fix them. I would really like to see the error indicator emphasized more - perhaps a solid red line or a wavy red line (as in other software) so that it is easily seen. This particular type of error indicator is supposed to almost jump out at you and scream ERROR! instead of hiding as if bashful and unwilling to let you know you’ve made a mistake.
You can change the type of spell check indicator: File > Options > Corrections > Underline Style
And you can change the color of the indicator: File > Options > Appearance > Textual Marks > Colors > Spell Check Underline. (Another member here pointed this one out to me just yesterday )
Best,
Jim
Thanks, Jim! That’s a huge help! I should have looked for that first.
