Export to word resulted in name too long

Hi,

I exported my files as a word doc but the names are too long so now not only can I not open the documents, I can’t delete them either. When I try to rename them (the folder is on on my desktop) by right clicking on a file in file explorer, the window closes.

I have text documents that I am working with in the corkboard viewer. They are currently all named ch1 sc 1 just for ease but I guess that’s what caused me problems because when I exported, a number series was added to each document so I have as the first problem document, ch 1 sc 1 2 3 4 . . . 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70 and on we go until ch 1 sc 1 2 3 4 . . . . 84.

Help please!

I was able to just now reduce the number of documents. I renamed all the folders to x (there are three folders) so that enabled me to delete most of the documents but there are still seven left that close the window if I try renaming. I was also able to get rid of two of the folders so now the remaining documents are in only one level of folders. I don’t know where to go from here though.
