Once again I am putting the cart before the horse. I am on chapter 3 (4 if you count the prologue) of my novel, and I’m already looking at ways to distribute it. I plan on trying some of the traditional routes, but I’m trying to be a realist as well.
In the realm of self-publishing, I like what I’ve seen of Smashwords, but it seems built around Microsoft Word. What has been the user experience of exporting from Scrivener to a word file specifically for submission at Smashwords (it doesn’t matter how many times I type that, it always comes out as ‘Smashmouth’)? Have there been problems with formating?
