As a scientist writing longer review papers and grants, Scrivener is a godsend (thanks James Fallows for the recommendation!). But Fallows early on also promoted second brain software like Endnote and Devonthink (my choice) as a second platform for organizing and synthesizing ideas.
So here’s the question.
I’ve been using the “cards” view for adding references and summaries (in much the same way as John McPhee does), and this is one of Scrivener’s many cool features.
Can I export a given project as a series of individual cards? These small “chunklets” of information are optimal for second brain software (as opposed to uploading the finished product).
If this is not currently possible, it would be a very useful feature.
Thanks so much for a great tool
