[Feature suggestion] Automatic white-spaces while pasting

This one is similar to what Word does.

It would be handy if Scrivener balances/adds/removes white-spaces when pasting a word/sentence between other words.

eg. (word in clipboard “fox”)

  • The quick brown jumps.

Paste anywhere between “brown” and “jumps”.

  • The quick brown fox jumps.

Instead of any of the following

  • The quick brownfox jumps.
  • The quick brown foxjumps.

A pasted word/sentence will be a separated word/sentence in the 99% of cases, don’t you think? That would greatly reduce the amount of annoying double spaces between words.

Another useful stuff:

if I select a word/sentence and delete it, white-spaces should be automatically balanced, it’s annoying to delete the extra space that is left.

eg.

  • the quick brown fox jumps.

if I double click on “brown” and press backspace, there is an extra space that must be deleted manually. That white-space should stay in place if I start typing over a selected word/sentence and be automatically deleted if I delete such word/sentence.

What do you guys think?

Yep; programming environments sometimes do that too, and it’s really convenient.
