File / Save As problems

File / Save As problems

I do a save as of project A to project B. This works and all I had to specify was B not B.scriv. B did not previously exist.

2a) (1->2a)
B exists.
I do a save as of project A to project B. Specifying only B, not B.scriv, I get an error popup that says “Project ‘zzz’ already exists. Continue?”. zzz is NOT a project but is in fact the literal name of the folder I’m putting B into. Project A is at the same level as zzz. I click Yes to continue. The project B folder Files / Docs goes EMPTY! (There is a Docs.checksum)

2b) (1->2b)
B exists.
I do a save as of project A to project B.scriv. I get project B showing in the Save As file chooser. It won’t let me save on over B!

2c) (1->2c)
B exists.
There’s another failure mode here that I’m not able to reproduce. At least once I was able to put B.scriv in the Save As - File name: field and have it not show to project but instead show an error popup.
