Filenames with more than one period [BUG LOGGED]

Related but similar problems.

Scrivener gets “confused” if your file name contains a period – foo.bar.001.rtf will not import.

I also get “-280” at then beginning of each line (after renaming to foo-bar-001.rtf then importing); quick workaround for me was to open the source file, select-all, then cut and paste to Scrivener.

PS – scrivener for windows – great work on a fantastic product!

I can verify that having file names such as:

O.Level.pdf
IV.RNA.pdf

and the like will not work in Scrivener. The file could be imported, but it cannot be used.

Edit: Scribbler takes credit for this find. The significance of the issue merits its own thread, and probably sooner so people can circumvent the problem while a bug-fix is underway.
