Hello, I have several scenes that are a bit long. I’m in the process of editing right now, and I use some metadata to figure out if I’ve finished editing a scene. However, when I don’t finish an entire one, it’s difficult to find where I was. I don’t work on it every day, so there may be some time difference. Plus, if I’m switching around, I may lose track even day of. My solution last night was to write “HERE” in large font. It would be nice to be able to make some kind of marker, maybe of unresolved issues, in the text. Then I could find all the list of unresolved issues, or find it within a document, and know where I left off on some activity. I can see this also being handy for times when I leave a placeholder in the text because I’m not ready to make a decision (i.e. is that 100 years old, or 800 years. Not sure at the time of mentioning if it will be important, so leave it as years old, come back to it later).
I did some searching and only found recommendations of using annotations. My concern is that I don’t want it to accidentally end up in compile (I do partial compiles to share with friends). I’m on Windows 3. If there’s a method I don’t know of to do this, please let me know!
