Finding Multiple Blank Lines

I often accumulate a few blank lines a the bottom of a text document. Is there any automated way of finding/deleting those?

Not currently, but we have plans to add an option for removing these trailing blank lines during compile.

Here’s a suggestion for a general purpose fix that would actually be quite easy to implement:

Add Regex capability to Find/Replace.

Regex is already planned for the next major version.

Yay!

I realized Scrivener for Windows did not support RegEx searches when I purchased the program and have exported my work to make the searches I require, a tedious endeavour. However, I noticed the post indicating that RegEx search would be added to next major Windows update. Is there any news on when that may be? I am using Windows version 1.8.6.0.
Fumio

We don’t have any news on this at present, but it won’t be for a while yet. “Major version” means a full upgrade from 1.x to 2.x to 3.x and so on. In this case, we’ll be updating the framework among other overhauls, which will allow for the RegEx search.
