Font Color Problem

My selection of font colors is limited to red. Everything I type is RED. I can change it to black by selecting the text and clicking on the red icon on the toolbar, that seems to deselect red and choose black. But I have to go through the extra step of changing the color. And I don’t like red text!!!

Sounds like you may have enabled Revision Mode. Try selecting Format > Revision Mode > None.
