I am having problems with Scrivener and fonts under windows 10.
I brought in many chapters copy and pasted into Scrivener from OneNote.
When I try to change fonts by selecting text and then using the font dropdown at the top of the screen the font does not change.
Likewise, if I select text that is styled correctly and then define a new style “text”, and then try to apply the new style to old material the font does not change.
If I highlight the text and use the ctrl+t and select a font, it seems to apply.
Is this expected behavior?
When pasting to Scrivener, use Paste and Match Style, instead of simply Paste.

…that should get rid of the invisible formatting you’ve brought along and that (lets assume) causes this.

Thank you!
One more related question. The text that I brought in from OneNote has a bit of extra room after each paragraph. Is there a way to define this in Scrivener? I tried picking it up as a new style and applying it, but it doesn’t work. Maybe it is a setting I’m missing, as I know Scrivener can display text like that.
Format/paragraph/line and … spacing.
(Not currently at my computer)
Also see if there is a useless carriage return or line break.
Use show invisibles (view menu, I think.)
OMG, I must be blind. Thank you.
