Footnote by Page versus Endnotes in iOS

When I compile documents with Scrivener for Windows, I can specify a Compile option of creating Footnotes (appear on each page) or Endnotes (appear at end of document). However, in Scrivener for iOS, no matter what output format I choose, they always appear as Endnotes and I cannot find a way to Compile page-by-page-Footnotes. Is there a way to Compile page-by-page or Chapter-by-Chapter footnotes, or will they always appear as Endnotes?

I recognise the Compile options for iOS are more limited than for the desktop versions, and this is not a big deal, just want to know. Or is there a way I can do this by modifying one of the Compile Presets? Thanks.
