Hello,
Please forgive me if this has been asked. I spent a morning searching the forums but found no other reference to a problem such as I have encountered.
I use Scrivener on windows and mac. In the mac version, there is a choice for formatting footnotes that allows me to use a period and a space rather than superscript. This format is preferred for Chicago style for many publications. In the windows version, I do not see this choice. I thought that I had used this before, but, having used mostly the mac version for the last few weeks, I may just be inventing memories. Is there some secret formatting place outside of the usual compile Footnotes and Annotations pane where this setting is hidden? Or does it not exist in Windows Scrivener? Or do I need to reinstall or something? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
