For Screenwriting

I am very interested in Scrivener for screenwriting and all I have is this chromebook with Chrubutu installed. I was able to get Scrivener installed on 13.10 but when I load up the screenplay template there is nothing there. I cannot generate an auto-complete list with my imported .fdx files and when I try the import/split feature with the .fdx file I don’t get the split options such as SCENE HEADING.

When I checked out this guy’s website (link below) and he loaded up a template there were folders for characters and locations and the like. I would very much like these features. Can anyone tell me if there is something that I can do to improve this experiment?

Without getting into the specifics of the bug, one thing to note is that you do not need a template to start writing a screenplay. All you need to do is turn on scriptwriting mode (Ctrl-4 by default) and you should be able to take it from there (the footer bar will change into something familiar to Final Draft users).
