Hi, I’m not sure whether this is a bug or not, but when typing into an index card I am not able to enter a hard return to create a new paragraph. Nor am I able to move the cursor down a line or two in order to create a blank line before typing a new line of text. Is this the way it’s s’posed to be? Have I ignored an instruction somehwere?
If you go into Tools>Options… and click the Navigation tab, there’s a checkbox to adjust the Return key behavior in synopses; if you uncheck that, you’ll be able to use the Return key to enter a new line in cards, and you’ll just need to click out of them in the corkboard/outliner to end editing.
Thanks Jennifer. I figured there might have been some instruction I had not seen.
