Formatting a list

Hi,

I’m only new to Scrivener, and I’m having trouble with basic list formatting. The first issue is if the text before the list is in bold, the list automatically reverts to bold font every time I start a new number.

And secondly, I can’t seem to find a way of keeping the list from reverting back to 1. after I hit enter. For example, I break a point into multiple paragraphs, and then want to add the next number, it always goes back to 1.

I’m sure there’s a formatting tool for lists, but for the life of me, I can’t find it.

Thanks.
Michael.

I cannot reproduce the first problem, are you starting the list on its own line or converting an existing line of text (where it will take on the formatting of that line). And for the second issue you need to use Insert :arrow_forward:︎ Break :arrow_forward:︎ Line Break (⌘⌥↵) if you want new paragraphs in a list without breaking the list order…

If you Show Invisibles you will see the line break different from the normal paragraph break.
