Super excited about the prospects of using Scrivener, but before I totally commit to Scrivener I have a couple of questions.
I have already written the draft in Google drive and am copying and pasting it over. My original draft has no indent and I used double spacing. Should I reformat it before bringing over to Scrivener or can I do it here?
Exporting my draft for my copy editor to work on. She will need toy make changes and I am not sure if PDF is the right format for her. Any suggestions welcome.
Set a default format with indent, font, size and spacing that you want. Import documents and then highlight import and select Documents>convert all documents to default format
or use Ctrl + Shift + V to copy and paste and match style of project.
Can compile and export to editor in rtf, word, pdf, ebook or whatever editor would want.
Word with Comments and Tracked changes is the way to go, officially. Tracked Changes won’t import back into Scrivener, so resolve those first. Comments do import, so you can resolve those later on in Scrivener.
If your Editor will work with Rich Text Format documents, File > Sync to external folder is an option. Documents should remain RTF and not be renamed for them to Sync back into Scrivener automagically. But your Editor can work in Word with RTF documents.

If you haven’t already, I’d recommend taking a look at our Interactive Tutorial, available from the Help menu. It’s a good overview of Scrivener’s fundamental operations and will save you a lot of time in the long run.
