Formatting and 'pages'

Greetings,
The back story is too long and complicated…Cutting to the chase…
My manuscript at 67,000 words is in Scrivener and is in a kind of one long scrolling configuration.
There are no ‘pages’ of the sort that helps break out the material in ‘page’ format a la Word.
Is there a setting or a way for me to configure that way?

Thanks!
Richard

Look under the ‘View’ menu item.
Select ‘Text Editing’ and choose ‘Show Page View

Or press the ‘Command, Option, Shift, & P’ keyboard shortcut to toggle the page view.

Depending how you end up compiling, the page count may be different than shown at the bottom of the window.

You might also want to seriously consider breaking that splitting your text into useful chunks. Keeping the whole thing in one long doc (if that is indeed what you were indicating) sort of defeats many of the happy wonders of Scrivener. You can split your doc at its natural joints and still see them all or any subcollection of them (via Scrivenings mode) as one single thing — at a moment’s notice — with or without Page Preview turned on.
