formatting documents

Hi,
I have a bunch of documents that all have different formats. I’d like to apply the same format to all the documents. I have one document that I’d like to follow. Is there a way of making this one document my default format document and then apply that format to the rest of the documents. I hope this makes sense. Thank you so much.

Select the text whose format you want followed.
Click Format > Formatting > Copy Formatting >
Then select the text to be changed.
Click Format > Formatting > Paste Formatting >

Then in Preferences > Formatting you can reset preferences for all new documents in that project.

Note that Copy Format and Paste Format icons can be added to your tool bar.
