Using the compile settings always generates a heading above the image? How to?
Are you trying to insert a graphic, like some kind of adornment, above each chapter heading in the book? If so there isn’t a way of adding graphics to the header prefix in the compiler—just text. You would either need to do that later on with an e-book editing program, or manually design your headings in the editor and forgo automatic compiler generation.
