Nah, you want a really smart kid like ours … she could do her mother’s handwriting and signature so well that when she needed any kind of note to her school, we just told her to do it herself! Mind you, she was fortunately also very responsible, so didn’t abuse her power.
Not so, P-F, my friend … I know it’s hard to believe, but there do exist teenagers who are responsible, respectful and to be trusted.
Anyway, she’s now 36, a research scientist and a mother herself … though she has many, many years to go before she will be in the same situation, so here’s hoping!
My (Daughter/Son) has had a cold and is supposed to take this medicine every two hours. Please allow my (Daughter/Son) to leave class to come to the School nurse and take the medicine that comes with this note.
Kid hands brown “medicine bottle” with worn label to Nurse. Bottle contains Vodka and grape Koolaid.
My office has provide boxes and boxes of fortune cookies in celebration. We also had lots of drum bashing and dancing in the reception which has made it pretty hard to concentrate.
A valiant effort. As a master of OT’ing threads allow me to offer a few brief suggestions:
• Strive to either closely couple or decouple your OT’ing. Ex. This post has nothing to do with any day.
• If striving to couple then consider a closer association or larger data set. Ex Today is also Chinese new year, the anniversary of my last case of “direct association with a headless man (think about it, Victoria Station)” and XXXX
• BE BOLD! You can never OT in a timid manner. If you must, call folks names. It helps with folks like Mr K.
I still can’t believe that was a chain restaurant.
