I’ve never seen this behavior before. I opted for a Scrivener 3 icon on my desktop. When I went to move it up into the corner with my other writing shortcuts, I noticed it was pulling the already-existing Scrivener 2 shortcut with it. No matter where on the desktop I moved one or the other, they both moved. I ended up deleting the Scriv 3 shortcut and that stopped it.
