From superscript mode to normal script mode

The manual says how to enter into a superscript input mode or subscript input mode.

Baseline: (Ctrl-G, Ctrl-UpArrow and Ctrl-G, Ctrl-DownArrow) adjust the baseline
height of the text, most commonly referred to as superscripting and subscripting.

But it does not say how to turn back to the ‘normal script’ mode. Once Ctrl-G, Ctrl-UpArrow is pressed all I type in are in superscript. I tried Ctrl-G, Ctrl-LeftArrow or ESC but they didn’t work.

It’s a toggle, so just use the same shortcut to turn it off.
