Full feature editing of index cards and outliner

This was brought up years ago but I thought it worth trying again.
I’d like to see the index cards (synopsis text) changed from .txt simple editing to allow the use of .rtf full-featured editing. This will allow the use of bold, italic, colored background, colored text, etc. The status and label features apply to the entire card, whereas the formating would apply to a specific line or two on the card.

Upon editing, I would use this for specific words/sentences in the synopsis that were left out of the first draft (unintentionally) - and, for me, act as a reminder to incorporate them. I can think of many other uses, so that’s just an example.

I would appreciate the addition of this feature, if possible.
Thanks, in advance, for your consideration.
