Full-Screen Mode -- Wishes!

I love Scrivener but wish the full-screen mode acted like Q10. Here’s what I mean:

  • Would love to not see (or toggle to not see) the scroll bar.
  • Would love to have a small toggle-able menu bar that includes the clock, the current doc word count and target, and the option to do several “word wars” – put in the timer, record word counts automatically.
  • A toggle to pop up (using same colors/background) a modal with either the document notes, the project notes or the synopsis.

Strange. Your platform states windows and linux. Not sure about linux but your first point regarding the scroll bar in full screen - it does not show after a second or two of no mouse movement, so why have it on a wish list?
The current document word count is already displayed when you ‘toggle’ it by moving the mouse to bottom of screen. As does the synopsis, document or project notes. Why ask for something you have?

It’s on the wish list because I don’t want it to scroll and distract me when I move the mouse. There’s absolutely no freakin’ reason a giant bar needs to ghost the screen when the mouse is moved. None whatsoever. It’s bad UI design for a full-screen mode. I’m glad you can live with it; I’m annoyed by it. Not sure what value you think you’re providing by telling me that I’m wrong on a WISH LIST but … not terribly impressed.

RE: “toggle” – please read my original post. I recommended functionality like Q10, which offers a permanent light bottom bar with time, word count and word-war totals. That’s what I’m asking for. Having to move the mouse to toggle an overlay that’s colorful, garish and not helpful (for me) is, again, beside the point of a wish list.
