Gush. Gush. Gush.

I completely love 2.0. It is SO very beautiful. I’m just bedazzled–it will be days before I write a serious word, as it’s just so much fun to play with. And so elegant. Keith, you have worked like a dog on this, and what a lovely outcome. I can’t believe you’re selling this thing for practically nothing. For indigent students and starving artists, maybe, I understand, but for the rest (including myself)–I was searching in vain for where I could make a larger donation on my invoice. You deserve (with your lovely family) a week’s luxe cruise on the Mediterranean for this. Babysitting included.

You have brightened my life considerably and it did need brightening. And focus. Well, I’ll get focussed. When I’m done playing.

Good job well done. :exclamation:

Thank you! Thank you, thank you - after a long session of going through crash reports, this is very heartening.

All the best,
Keith

I can’t put it more eloquently, but I can continue to repeat the sentiment: 2.0 was worth the wait. I hope the onslaught of minor glitches slows down for you soon, so you can relax and enjoy the accolades you so richly deserve.

Oh my, oh my. I didn’t sleep a wink last night. Do you know you can choose your own photo background in Full Screen mode? And that you can make the paper transparent, so the picture shows through?

I am besotted, delirious. This is WAAAY more fun than writing.

I know what you mean about the backdrop. I just figured out how to use it today (great procrastination tool), and I can’t wait to show my friends who have Macs.

Great job, Keith, and well worth the upgrade price.

And the binder icons.

Now I can go back through all my old projects and change every single icon – twice (because I won’t pick the right one the first time). There goes the morning.

But seriously, there are little joys everywhere. My current favourite is the suggestions offered for Scrivener links. As I use this for MMD the selected text is usually identical to the image name, so Scrivener offers me the right image name straightaway, saving me from trawling through long, long lists to find the right one.

The first time I used it I thought Scrivener was finally reading my mind.

McGruff!
How do you do the binder icons???

**Nevermind - I found all the new icons! And a post from Keith on how to add my own. Oh swoooooon…

Okay, I’ll see if I can remember this.
Go to Scrivener/Preferences, click Show All, click Appearance, then go down to the bottom under Customisable Colours, click Full Screen on the left, then scroll in the column in the middle and click Background, then click Choose Texture on the right and your Finder Box will come up, then navigate to your chosen picture and click on it and voila!

Let me know if it works.

Yes, as you were writing, I went back and found that Textures brings up the search capability for images.

Thanks.

My senior moments are more frequent.

BTW, I will add my own gush, gush, gush to yours!

Oh. Oh. OH!!

Collections in the Binder!!! Free-form corkboards!!! Snapshots in the Inspector that are COMPARABLE!!!

Be still, my beating heart!

The delights just never end.
