Header first page new chapter

Hello

I want to prevent scrivener from compiling my header on the first page of each chapter. My headers including a title and my name on alternating pages (reverso/facto) as well as a page number. I do not want to display any of this info on the first page of each chapter but I do want scrivener to continue counting page numbers up, even on pages without a page number.

Is there a way to do this?

There should be an option that works for you:

  1. Open File ▸ Compile…, and double-click on the compile Format you use, in the left sidebar, to edit it.
  2. In the Page Settings compile format pane, look for Different header and footer on pages following page breaks, and click that.
  3. Click on the “Header and Footer Text” tab, and inspect the “New Pages” category. You may want to place the page number centre-bottom on these pages, or just have nothing at all printed.
