Header misbehaving on compile

Hi,

I’m suddenly having header problems when I compile.

I had been getting exactly what I wanted (right corner, name, title, page #, no printing on page 1) then suddenly I’m getting the header only on the first page (and I DO have “not on page 1” checked), and to add to the weirdness, the header is showing up on that one page in the body of the page, not in the header area.

I’ve cut and pasted the example header into that field in compile, from a clean template. Same behavior.

In looking at my first page, where the header is being printed so oddly, it looks fine in the editor window, i.e. no header is visible.

I’m using Nisus Express (thanks for the tip, Keith!) so I can’t blame the evil MS Word on this one.

Any idea what could be going wrong? I realize this explanation may be confusing so I’m posting three screenshots that should help me to at least appear to be a more coherent person.

It looks as though you forgot to upload the pictures, as I can’t see them (although I have only just woken up so it could just be me). Anyway, if you want, you could zip up the project and send it to me at support AT literatureandlatte DOT com and I’ll take a look.

All the best,
Keith
