Headings and paragraphs missing from text when compiling to html

When I compile my manuscript as web page in the default HTML format, the chapter heading folders, the first paragraphs of the scenes following a heading, and the last paragraphs of the scenes preceding a heading aren’t included in the resulting html file.

For example, in the part of my mansucript shown in the following image, the last paragraph of scene 21 is missing, as well as the chapter heading “Donnerstag, 19. Juli” and the first paragraph of scene 22. And again the last paragraph of scene 29 is missing, the chapter heading “Freitag, 20. Juli”, and the first paragraph of scene 30.

In place of the missing parts are horizontal lines. Here is an image comparing the text of the manuscript with the text of the html file:

The headings and paragraphs are not missing when I compile to a Word file (docx), RTF, or ePub.

I’m working in Scrivener 3.2.2 under macOS 10.13.6. I cannot share the original files as attachments on this site, but can send them by email to Scrivener staff.

Based on the problem description, it seems likely that some kind of invisible formatting is causing the exclusion of the missing text. You can look yourself with the View → Text Editing → Show Invisibles command.

If that doesn’t help, you can email a project by using the File → Backup → Backup To command, and checking the box to create a ZIP backup.
