I’m a 75 yo woman who is having some eye issues but that are stable. When I’m using Scrivener for my writing I can easily make the fonts bigger. Hells, bells, I can even make the fonts on this forum larger. BUT I cannot figure out how to make the fonts in the Scrivener Settings (the general settings not the specific work I’m writing). If anyone has an idea how to make the General Scrivener Settings pages font larger I’d really appreciate it.
Go to file> options>
Pretty sure in appearance and is gui interface which came be increased
Think can increase icon size on toolbar in same area. Not at computer.
Thank you but when I go to file>there is no options. When I go to Scrivener>Settings I can easily set everything to readable but not with Scrivener>Settings. I had not had a problem with this until the latest/greatest update from Apple. That may be the issue. It’s mostly when I need to look at the ‘settings’ and top bar. The bar isn’t as much of a problem since there are icons. But in ‘settings’ the print is so small as to be useless.
Thanks again for touching back to me. Still when I go to file>options> can’t make the items and letters larger. I can in the writing area and binder.

Must be Mac. Windows is file> options
Have to find gui interface. Adjusting that adjusts the menu font. If not in appearance click on editor tab.
Unfortunately, the settings font isn’t a setting that can be changed on the macOS.
This is where I tend to use the macOS built-in tools for placing a magnifying glass over what I’m seeing so I can read what it says.
Here’s the Apple Support page on their magnifier.
(I’ve also edited your post to move it to the macOS thread.)
I went to the apple support page and changed my resolution of my screen. Problem solved. Thank you all so much. I was getting a tiny bit grumpy. ![]()
