The Help PDF file in A4 format is “coming soon.” Any idea roughly how soon, soon is? No rush but I’m wondering whether to print off the Letter format in the meantime.
Many thanks
Tomorrow sounds about right.
That soon! Great. You are all still being busy beavers . . . and I thought 2.0s release might give you all a well-deserved break.
It’s a bit like coming out of the Alps with your breaks blown.
Lol Guess so! I’m sure you will be slowing down though . . . slowly!
Okay! This is up. I don’t actually have access to A4 paper, so if someone could print out page 9-ish or so and let me know if the margins and everything look okay, I’d appreciate it. It looks about right to me, comparing it side-by-side with the US Letter version in Skim.
From now on these will be produced in tandem, especially if it looks good as is, because it was literally a 2 minute job. I just didn’t have two minutes to spare on November 1, it seems.
Cool that A4 is there already 8) !
Just one more questions: when will the missing chapters approximately be filled in?
No hurry. It’s just that I wanted to print out the manual as well, but prefer to wait until it is complete (in order to have consistent page numbers).
It’s a highly readable and extremely useful helpfile, besides.
Thank you!
I’m pushing to have the “bulk” done by this Monday. But for referencing I would stick with section numbering instead of page numbers. I chose to export the empty sections as is, even though it looks bad, so that the section numbering would remain fairly consistent. The Letter and A4 versions have about a 20 page difference, and I’m thinking of putting together a slim, iPad optimsed PDF as well which will probably have even more pages, not to mention the roughly paper-back size version we are planning on making available later this year, which will probably have close to 400 pages.
Yes, I’ve been looking through the A4 version today, and it’s mighty impressive. Yet another superb product from L & L.
