Help with paragraph indents in Compile

Hello everyone,
I love Scrivener, as the ability to go back and forth between the Windows version and the iOS version on an iPad has made it possible for me to finally finish my novel.

However, I’m now frustrated by the inability to produce a mobi file with consistent paragraph indents. About four out of sixty-four chapters are causing the problem. All chapters appear to be set up the same way, with the same indents and line spacing, but when I do a compile (using Windows) these problem chapters reduce the indentation to only about the width of one letter. I’ve tried highlighting the contents of those chapters and telling it to preserve the formatting, but that doesn’t make any difference.

Hi,

I had a similar problem - a paragraph indent of about .5’ was cut to about half a character width. The solution was to compile as epub, which can be edited with calibre (an open source ebook editor), then in the css code change the indent to the size an units you want. (I found about 1.5 em was good.)

Then the ebpub into mobi using the kindle tool, and it was good.
