Help With Pasting Into Program

Hello, I can’t figure out why when I copy something off of the web and then paste it into Scrivener I get weird formatting such as blue coloring and strange underlining. Is there a work around or a formatting setting that can be automatically applied to the text I paste into the program?

Hi, jerdoggmckoy, and welcome to the forum!

Try pasting with Ctrl-Shift-V (Paste and match style).

Also, it is highly recommended that you go through the Tutorial at least once (if you’ve not already done so) to familiarize yourself with several key aspects of Scrivener, which will surely ease the learning curve.

Yeah, the tutorial is extremely long. I tried the shortcut route and watched the basic 10 minute YouTube video lol. But yes, you’re right. I probably should just go through the tutorial.
