How can I center my image on a page?

Hi guys!

I’m trying to put an image alone on a page but I want it to be both centered vertically, but also horizontally!

I wasn’t sure how to do this because whenever I add a photo to the page it only appears on the top of the page.

Any help appreciated!

Pages don’t have neither a bottom or a right side in the editor.
You can center something horizontally as per the width of the editor… OK…
But the editor having no bottom, there is no way to center anything vertically.

This (if even doable) could only be so at compile. (I would think that the only way to do it is through calculations and space before/after blank paragraphs – or something the likes of.)
[Or still perhaps the same way in page view, if you are 100% sure of your output page size already.]

Scrivener is not designed for this.

Got it!

Thank you so much for your help!

Horizontal is easy; just put it in a centered paragraph. Vertical is hard. You’d have to calculate how much vertical space it takes up on the screen, subtract that from the total vertical space of the page, divide by two, and add whitespace before the text.
