How could I remove the redundant title?

I sometimes have the titel twice in the title bar over the editor. Only one of them seems to be editable. When I double click the left title a reference window is opened?

How could I remove the redundant title?

This “double title” is how it is displayed when the editor shows multiple files as a scrivening.

The first title is that of the parent file.
The second is that of the current file within it. (Or itself, if it is the one currently active.)

There is nothing to do about it other than not using scrivening view.

It’s a kind of god-mode. In and of itself. :innocent:

Actually I do not use such scrivening at the moment, at least I do not intentionally.

It looks like that if a folder is selected then a second title appears?

God-mode? Sorry?

Jokes come-off best when they’re left unexplained.

And if the recipient has a sense of humor, so it’s time for a little snickering now, I guess.

Does it look something like this?

If so, as already stated by @Vincent_Vincent, you’re in Scrivenings mode.

To exit Scrivenings mode, click once on the Scrivenings button (left-most button):

Exiting Scrivenings mode will return you to single document mode:

Best,
Jim

Does it look something like this?

Yes, it does absolutely.

If so, as already stated by @Vincent_Vincent, you’re in Scrivenings mode.

Ah, now I see, did never get the idea to (re-)press the button (again) to release it (how unsmart is that?!), thought it gets released only by pressing another button there. That, scrivening mode, is the mode I am in all the time.

Thank you very much!

Also the double title only occurs with documents (folders or files ) that contain subdocuments.

Okey, yes, missed that, thank you.
